Conceptualization and Design
 Your plans have just arrived.
Experienced in design for manufacture and assembly, L&Z's team of engineers
carefully review every aspect of the project. We work closely with
you on each step of the product's development from design through
delivery. L&Z offers custom design solutions in-house or we can
link up electronically through modem or EDI to your CAD database.
After your project has been thoroughly reviewed, a cost estimate is submitted
for approval. Upon your acceptance of the job, L&Z begins the preliminary
manufacturing process. A working prototype is made in a matter of
hours utilizing L&Z's state of the art CAD (Computer Aided Design)
technology. The designer electronically creates an exact engineering
model of the proposed project in 3-D. Renderings made from the CAD
model simulate the project appearance from all angles, in various colors,
textures and environments.

Where necessary, accurate
.STL files(stereolithography) can be generated to produce rapid prototype
samples in the earliest stages of the design. Using these tools,
the designer can anticipate and identify appearance or structural problems.
Also, we can analyze and solve production problems early in the development
stages and ensure the compatibility of the mold and its components. L&Z
Tool & Engineering's ongoing investment in the latest computer hardware
